Call for Proposals Opens for The Learning Ideas Conference 2026

New York, NY (September 2, 2025) - Following the announcement of its official hybrid June dates, The Learning Ideas Conference (TLIC) has opened its call for proposals for its 19th annual event. Educators, researchers, practitioners, consultants, technologists, administrators, and learning professionals from across the globe are invited to submit ideas, research, and innovations to participate in this global hybrid conference on workplace learning and higher education.

TLIC 2026 will feature both virtual and in-person presentations, with hybrid sessions taking place on June 10th-12th, 2026, in New York and online. Additional online-only days will also be announced. Continuing its tradition, the conference theme remains Innovations in Learning and Technology for the Workplace and Higher Education.”

The conference brings together a diverse international community of researchers, faculty, learning and development professionals, UX designers, technologists and consultants from over 50 countries. Proposals are invited from across disciplines such as education, computer science, cognitive science, game design, management, the arts, VR/AR/XR, and beyond. Formats are not limited to traditional presentations as the conference also encourages interactive formats including demonstrations, case studies, panel discussions, and debates. Accepted proposals will be included in the conference proceedings, published by Springer as a book/ebook and submitted for indexing in SCOPUS and other major indexing systems, such as DBLP, EI Compendex, INSPEC, WTI Frankfurt eG, zbMATH, Japanese Science and Technology Agency (JST), and SCImago, with consideration for Web of Science. Papers will also be eligible for expansion into a journal article for iJAC, the International Journal of Advanced Corporate Learning.

Interested individuals are encouraged to submit their proposals by December 15th, 2025.
